Go Ice Skating At The Harris Pavilion This Winter

Harris Pavilion

Santa might be off the NORAD radar, and the Christmas tree may be down, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop with the winter fun. There’s still a lot of fun to be had at the Harris Pavilion. The pavilion’s ice skating rink is open through Feb. 24, and it’s the perfect place to enjoy some family fun in the great outdoors.

Check out some reasons why this is the place to go this winter.

Free Skating on Wednesdays

Ice skating is always affordable at the Harris Pavilion. Adults can skate for $9, and kids can skate for $8, so it’s one of the most affordable activities in the area. It’s even better on Wednesdays, though. That’s when you can skate for free. You just have to pay the $5 fee for the skate rental, and you can skate to your heart’s content. If you’re still trying to get into the black after Christmas, just head over on Wednesdays for some good old-fashioned fun.

The Music and Lighting

Ice skating is all about the atmosphere. You want the perfect atmosphere for skating, and the Harris Pavilion delivers on that front. It has lighting and music that make skating even more fun. You’ll get into the winter spirit as you zoom around the ice rink.

A Family-Friendly Atmosphere

It can be hard to find activities that adults and kids can enjoy together. Either the kids have fun or the adults have fun at most places. Everyone has a good time at the Harris Pavilion, though. When you arrive, you’ll see adults and kids skating, laughing, and having a blast. If you’re looking for a fun spot to take the kiddos, look no further than the Harris Pavilion’s ice skating rink.

You Can Learn to Skate

New to the world of ice skating? It can be a little scary, but you can take lessons at the Harris Pavilion. Lessons are offered on Saturdays, and it’s $70 for lessons on four consecutive weeks. The lessons are fun and full of information, and by the time you finish, you’ll feel confident on the ice. Since lessons are for all ages, you can bring the entire family and learn to skate together.

You’re going to have an amazing time skating at the Harris Pavilion. Why should the fun end there, though? You can enjoy one adventure after the next with a new Toyota from Miller Toyota in Manassas, Virginia. Your new wheels will make it easy for you to go all over Virginia and beyond.
