You can bring your leashed pup along for the trip when you go here. He is certain to have a great time sniffing flowers and gazing out at the tranquil water.

McCrillis House and Gardens

McCrillis House and Gardens is located in Bethesda, Maryland. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and full of various paths. Pick a path and enjoy all of the flowers. Be sure to bring a picnic lunch along with you. This is also a great place for leashed pets, and kids can have a blast, as well. Use the multiple paths to engage in a game of hide-and-go-seek with your little ones.

Winkler Botanical Preserve

Alexandria’s Winkler Botanical Preserve might be small, but it is jam-packed with beauty. From the manmade waterfall to the bridges, there is something to see at every corner. It is also full of gorgeous flowers you will want to view. There is a lot of shade along the path, so you won’t have to worry about getting burned up in the hot sun. Be sure to take a walk through the entire preserve so you can see it all.
