2017 Prius named “Best Car for the Money” by U.S. News & World Report

It may be hard to pick an eco-friendly vehicle with all the hybrid options available. Toyota is still dominating the green car sales. Their history of excellence is part of the reason, but the 2017 Prius is holding its own in the hybrid car competition.

The 2017 Prius has recently received the U.S. News & World Report Autos “Best Cars for the Money” top spot. U.S. News mentioned,

The Toyota Prius is the Best Hybrid Car for the Money, and with fuel economy that outpaces other hybrids, it’s not hard to see why. Still, there’s no sense in buying a hybrid if you’re not going to enjoy owning it, and there the Prius performs well too. The Prius’ ride is smooth and composed, and there’s plenty of space for your carpool in its roomy interior.

Old and new Prius fans will appreciate the ultra-modern design and multiple trim options. The 2017 Prius Hybrid offers 7 different trim options, to be exact. Buyers can choose from an Eco or Touring model, or check out the compact Prius C or larger Prius V models. Toyota has included a plug-in model, the Prius Prime, which has been the top selling electric vehicle multiple times and is now the third-leading selling electric vehicle to date.

The Prius was one of the first hybrid vehicles available in the United States to offer practicality with a low carbon footprint. The 2017 models come standard with Toyota Safety Sense and are loaded with technology. These additions explain why the 2017 Toyota Prius took the top “Best Cars for the Money” spot!
