Manassas Farmer’s Markets

Just because the weather is cooling down doesn’t mean you have to stop enjoying fresh produce. The Historic Manassas Farmer’s Market takes place in the winter as well as in the summer. You can get local organic produce in a historic area or just walk around and enjoy all the options.

Historic Manassas Farmer’s Market: Where and When

The Tuesday evening farmer’s market ended in August, but you can still enjoy the rest of the Historic Manassas Farmer’s Market until the Winter Market begins. The Thursday markets are at the Harris Pavilion right in Historic Downtown Manassas. On Saturdays, they move to Parking Lot B behind the pavilion. These summer markets start at 7:30 in the morning and go until 1 p.m.

Once those are over, the Winter Market will begin in the middle of November. It is also in Parking Lot B but starts a bit later at 9 a.m. Even with the later start time, you still have several hours to choose which vendors you want to buy from before the market closes at 1 p.m. The Winter Market runs until March, so you have plenty of time to check it out.

Fresh Manassas Produce and More

Most people go to the Historic Manassas Farmer’s Market for the fresh produce, but you can find much more than this. There are also fresh cheeses, freshly baked bread, local meats, crafts, presents, and more. Some people will sell already made food items while others have seasonal décor, salsa, or even candles and soaps. You can find unique items, like specialty pickles, international sweets, and fresh flowers and herbs.

Special Manassas Farmer’s Market Events

The market also hosts occasional events, and you can find live music at times. Check it out or look online to see if anything special is happening.
