What’s the Premium Audio System like in a 2014 Toyota Corolla

Part of the enjoyment of driving is often found in the car’s sound system. The earmark of luxury is found in getting into your car, shutting out the world, and immersing yourself in the relaxing music of your choice, whether that be classical Beethoven or contemporary Black Sabbath. While many people add after market systems, the 2014 Toyota Corolla needs no improvements whatsoever. Its on board Entune infotainment system provides both superior sound quality as well as a host of other amenities.

From a user interface standpoint, the large LCD touchscreen found on the center console allows drivers to access a variety of information and entertainment with a simple tap. Using a swipe motion allows the driver to navigate between apps, which include navigation, trip stats, and -of course- audio tuning. The icons can be moved and configured easily to place favorite applications on the home screen.

The Entune system encompasses the entire audio display stack of the vehicle, including Bluetooth, voice recognition, USB, auxiliary port, navigation, and the display screen. Your smart phone can easily be paired with your vehicle to enable music playback, messaging services, and voice dialing. If you elect to not pair your mobile device with your vehicle’s Entune system, you can still enjoy your playlists by connecting via either the USB or auxiliary ports.

The Entune system connects to the Entune App Suite where many popular apps can be installed in your vehicle. Apps such as iHeartRadio and Pandora allow you to access all the music you will need. With available six speaker surround sound, AM/FM radio with CD player, and a 6.1 inch high resolution touchscreen display, the premium Entune system will provide hours of audio enjoyment.

As if that wasn’t enough, the 2014 Toyota Corolla comes with a 90 day all-access trial to SiriusXM radio and Gracenote album cover art. The advanced voice recognition system and hands-free technology allow the driver to effortlessly stream music, make calls, and adjust interior comfort settings. Even if you haven’t paid for a tethering package for your phone service, the Bluetooth connectivity allows you to connect your smart phone, running either Android or iOS, to your car’s infotainment system.
