During last month’s 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Animal Planet’s ‘Tanked’ series revealed a customized SpongeBob SquarePants themed vehicle. Fully customized on a 2014 Toyota Highlander, the mid-sized SUV came with an 800-gallon fish tank at its tailgate. Called the 2014 SpongeBob Highlander: Tanked Edition, the mega aquarium contains 115 individual fishes to give an enjoyable time to its guests.

Created together with Toyota and Nickelodeon, the project fully customizes the look of the Highlander from the inside out. Apart from the 800-gallon tank situated inside, the SUV has been designed with a blue, cyan, and yellow color to imitate the colors of the ocean.

Inside, the aquarium sits behind the Highlander’s front couple seats and stretches onto the back of the car. The species that reside inside the saltwater tank include pilot fish, clownfish, flame angel, Fiji foxface, and squirrelfish. There is also a starfish that signifies one of the cartoon’s main characters, Patrick.

To help maintain the living conditions of the fish, the aquarium comes with a complex filtration system with an overflow system, temperature regulator, UV filter, sterilizer, and other elements. While the fish arrived two days before the event, they were able to acclimate to their new home before the SEMA Show started. It is said to make an appearance at the LA Auto Show to give a once in a lifetime experience to guests who want to see how it’s like living in Bikini Bottom.
