Why Your Kid Should Bring A Toyota Camry To College

If you or someone in your household is gearing up for college, you’ll want to make the university experience as rewarding as possible. When it’s time to choose a car that you can rely on from move-in day to graduation day, you can always count on the tried and true Toyota Camry.

Camry Updates for 2023

For the 2023 model year, Toyota expands the features within the Camry SE trim’s available Nightshade Edition. If you add the Nightshade package to the SE, the car will sport black coloration on the badging, grille, mirror caps, and rear spoiler. It will also ride on matte bronze 19-inch wheels. The Nightshade package can be equipped with several paint options, including the new Reservoir Blue hue.

Ride and Performance

The Camry handles with ease whether you’re hitting the highway on your way to college or just leaving campus for a run into town. The steering and brakes are surefooted and responsive as well, letting you cruise with confidence whether you’re on the open road or in a tight parking situation. A 4-cylinder engine comes standard for efficient driving, while the Camry Hybrid variations pair this engine with a couple of electric motors for enhanced performance and efficiency. You can also opt for an available 301-horsepower V6 engine for an engaging drive and prompt acceleration.

On the Inside

The Camry provides an impressive amount of interior space, and everyone onboard can enjoy generous legroom in the front row and the back. Its spacious trunk also offers ample cargo space to help with move-in day as well as grocery hauls, group trips, and vacations. Comfortable furnishings can be found all around, and if you opt for an upper trim level like the Camry XLE, you can enjoy leather-trimmed upholstery, heated front seats, and other upscale amenities.
