Tournament of Heroes Golf Extravaganza – Benefiting Virginia Airborne

There’s nothing better than doing what you enjoy and helping others along the way. If golf is close to your heart, then read on to find out how you can hit the green and practice your swing this month. And best of all, you’ll benefit one of Virginia’s most selfless groups of people.

Tournament of Heroes Golf Extravaganza

Come to the 2017 Tournament of Heroes Golf Extravaganza on Monday, Oct. 16. at Stonewall Golf Club on Lake Manassas. Registration opens at 8 a.m., and there will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Get ready for a day full of golf, prizes, trophies, and sunshine. In addition to the fun on the green, there will be a reception afterward featuring delicious food and beverages. Reserve your spot early by registering online.

Tournament pricing is $125 for individual golfers or $450 for a team foursome. You can purchase a ball drop ticket for $10.

The ball drop prizes are something you don’t want to miss out on.

• 1st place – A 1-hour helicopter tour over the Shenandoah
• 2nd place – Glock handgun
• 3rd place – $250 cash
• 4th place – $100 cash

There will also be a silent auction following the tournament.

Virginia Airborne Search and Rescue Squad

The Tournament of Heroes gets its name from the organization of brave men and women that it benefits. The Virginia Airborne Search and Rescue Squad is a non-profit, all-volunteer rescue squad that serves the entire Commonwealth of Virginia. The group aids in locating lost or distressed citizens, suspected criminals, and people with disabilities. These volunteers are trained and certified flight crews that assist law enforcement in need of aerial support. By being a part of the Tournament of Heroes, you’re supporting this group who gives their time flying to save lives.
