Greater Manassas Christmas Parade

The 72nd Annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade is taking place on December 2nd at 10am. This event has become one of the largest holiday parades in Northern Virginia with over 100 units-marching bands, floats, high-flying balloons, and more! We have approximately 2,000 participants and over 300 volunteers. The parade sets the mood for the holiday season and has become a family tradition with multiple generations lined up to watch the parade!

How long does the parade last? Approximately 2 hours

What streets are going to be closed for the parade and when do they start to close?

Mathis Avenue from Liberia Avenue to Sudley Road at 6:00 a.m.
Carriage Lane and Reb Yank Drive at 6:00 a.m.
Sudley Road from Mathis Avenue to Centreville Road at 9:45 a.m.
Prescott Avenue from Centreville Road to Center Street at 9:45 a.m.
Center Street from Prescott Avenue to Peabody Street at 9:45 a.m.

Where is the best place to view the parade? Anywhere along the route! We recommend going early, especially if the weather is nice. You may want to bring blankets, chairs, etc.
