At 3:17 p.m., one keg of Bourbon Aged Imperial Stout will be tapped. If you’d like to try this unique beer, make plans to get here in time. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!

While there, enjoy a kilt contest, live performances from Irish dancers, a specialty cask, and delicious food from the Phat Yummies food truck. Plus, the winner of the kilt contest will receive a special prize!

History of Cooking at Ben Lomond Historic Site

If you’re looking for a tamer way to celebrate the holiday, consider joining the Prince William County Historic Preservation for this St. Patrick’s Day cooking session. Held at the Pat White Center at Ben Lomond, the society will be preparing traditional Irish cuisine. The menu includes sausage, fried cabbage, and potatoes.

This event is especially authentic. All dishes will be prepared as they would have been in the days before electricity and pasteurization. The event starts at 10 a.m., and admission cost is $30 per family.
