Learn more about the smart features available in the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 tech suite:

• Pre-Collision System: This tool utilizes various sensors and alerts to detect the risk of collision, warn the driver, and brake if necessary. It detects vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists and alerts you with a forward collision warning. If you don’t react promptly to the alert, it will trigger automatic emergency braking to mitigate the collision.


• Proactive Driving Assist: This feature uses a radar and camera to administer light braking and/or steering to help you maintain a safe following distance or take curves at the proper speed.


• Lane Departure Warning: If sensors detect that your vehicle is about to cross over lane markings or certain road boundaries, it will cue an audio/visual alert. If you don’t take corrective action quickly, it can also initiate a steering assist function to provide gentle steering to keep you in your lane.


• Road Sign Assist: Via an intelligent camera, this feature can identify traffic signs – from stop signs to speed limits and “Do Not Enter” signs – and show an icon of the sign on your vehicle’s display screen.


• Lane Tracing Assist: Lane Tracing Assist works in tandem with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control to detect lane markers and other cars ahead of the vehicle to offer active driving assistance to keep your vehicle centered in its lane.
