In 2022, Toyota introduced the second-generation model, which is the basis of the 2024 Toyota GR86. The 2024 Toyota GR86 includes the TRUENO Edition in its trim lineup. This is a limited-edition model, and Toyota will only release 860 units in the United States. Inspired by the AE86 Corolla, the TRUENO has unique black hood details, graphics, Brembo brakes, and Sachs dampers. Aside from the TRUENO Edition, the two other trims are Base and Premium.

The 2024 Toyota GR86 is a four-seater sports car with 78 cubic feet of cabin space. The rear seats have enough room for average-sized adults. For higher trims, the front is a sports seat with two-stage heating. Meanwhile, dual-zone climate control, leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel, and leather-wrapped gear shift knob are standard for all trims.
If you get the TRUENO Edition, you can expect an exclusive trim for the gear shift knob, a set of unique all-weather floor mats, and a cargo mat. You will also get a commemorative plaque highlighting the model's limited production run.
Other standard features for the 2024 GR86 include a GR start button and multifunction in-key remote keyless entry. The interior also features an AUX port for the infotainment system and two USB charging ports for charging your devices. Under the GR86 hood is a Subaru-developed 2.5-liter boxer four-cylinder engine that is naturally aspirated and delivers 224 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. All trims come standard with a Torsen limited-slip differential and rear-wheel drive.
