Get Your Summer BBQ Fix At The Bone

If you're driving through Manassas and you get a craving for barbecue that's finger-licking good and served with a scrumptious side, swing by The Bone for a satiating meal.

The Bone in Old Town Manassas

Whenever you hear someone say they're grabbing a bite to eat at The Bone, you can be sure that they're referring to one of the best barbecue joints in Manassas. When the restaurant first opened in 2011, it was called Bad to the Bone Smokehouse and it only had one location. It was located in Gainesville, Virginia. The restaurant did so well that the owners  - Bobby, Pat, and Mike - decided to open a second location. Luckily for the Manassas community, they fired up their new smoke pit right here in Old Town Manassas next to the train station.

So, 11 years after opening its doors, The Bone has expanded to two locations and a food truck. They've served celebrities like Chris Brown and Tiger Woods. Most importantly though, they're still making delicious barbecue.

BBQ to Order at The Bone

There is something for everyone at The Bone. If you're looking for a place to grab a quick lunch, you can order a sandwich or a platter to go. You can choose between pulled pork slathered in Caroline-style barbecue sauce, hickory-smoked brisket, citrus-brined smoked turkey, or pulled chicken tossed in a honey barbecue glaze. Sandwiches at The Bone are served with pickles and one side. Platters, come with an extra serving of meat and two sides.

Other meat options include their hickory-smoked St. Louis Ribs or the hickory-smoked chicken. If you're not sure what you're in the mood for, or you're serving a large family, order a two or three meat combo for a variety that will make everyone happy.
